I am really interested in starting my own vending business.  I read How to Start Your Own Vending Business by Entrepreneur Press, and now I am doing more research on the subject matter.  I did a search on startupnation and I was shocked that there doesn`t seem to be anything posted on the subject.  I like the idea of starting a vending business because after the initial accounts are setup, you pretty much have residual income.  Of course, maintaining the machines, running promotions and fostering the client relationship would be ongoing.  However, one the major disadvantages in the vending  business is that one is constrained for the most part to a specific geographic region.  There are a few other businesses that pique my interests.  They are: online retailing, import/export, mail order (heard it`s a dying business?) and wholesale distribution.  Entrepreneur  Press publishes small business books in these areas.  Should I purchase these books and use them as a way to compare/contrast industries before making my final decision? I need guidance.  Thanks for your help.
