Hi,

Anyone here have any experience with vector illustrations?  I  hope that is what they are called.  I am not sure where to go to have them developed.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Cole

This is  true,
any good designer worth his/her weight could whip up something for you.
But the phrase " Vector Illustrations" is a very broad.
What are these images to be used for? Logos? Caricatures?  Product Schematics? Give a bit more detail.
Drop me a line, I`d be glad to help. Or better yet there is also a SuN member by the name of Jeff Fisher (user name: LogoMotives) who is a pro.

Vector graphics is a term describing one out of many ways to draw graphics on a computer screen. The thing with vector is that every lined is mathematically defined so you can scale it up and down without loss of quality.

If you can post what kind of purpose you need graphics for I can probably give more guidance. I´m a graphic designer myself....

Thanks everyone for the great replies.

Here is what I am looking for. I am looking for 3 caricatures. I have the idea of what I want each one to look like, not sure if that will be helpful for you or not. They would need to be in either .ai or .eps format.  Also the image would need to be scalable and without losing any image quality.  Also I would want no back ground image or colors. I only want the caricatures.  Not sure if all this information is what you need.  If you need more please let me know.

Thanks,

Cole

Cole,
that is what a vector drawing supposed to do "Not loose its resolution" ai and eps are standard  in the printing world. Do you have a sample of what you want done?

Another option would be to go to www.elance.com
In case you don`t know what eLance is, it is a place where you can post your project and designers will bid to get your job. It is a great place to outsource some projects.

Good luck. I hope we can see what the final product is.
