Has anyone here used a VC consulting service for help with financial modeling, coaching for investor pitches or introductions to investors? If so, how much was the service/package? Or does anyone know how much one should one expect to pay for such services?

I've seen a wide range of quotes including: $2500 (astia.org) $3500 (venture planning associates) and $7,000+ (Right-hand Partners). Not all of them provide a 3 yr. financial model or due diligence though.

Travbrad,

If you are considering engaging the services of a VC consultant, be clear on what services will be provided and what (if any) will be the deliverables.

the first thing is to be sure you and your company are ready for Venture Capital investment.

If you wish to discuss your specific situation - feel free to drop me a PM or contact me directly.
