I have a green card and a full-time job. If I quit my day job to launch my own business, will I receive any money from Social Security? How do I calculate it? Thanks.
First of all, unemployment benefits are handled by the State not the Federal Social Security.
Qualifications vary by State.
Most consider "starting a business" as a disqualification for benefits.
Don`t quit your day job until you have everything set. (plans, funds, customers if possible)

I believe you have to be fired or laid off to collect unemployment, if I`m not mistaken.
Laid off you can collect, fired not necessarily.

Can I be laid off and collect something even though I would then work as an entrepreneur in my own LLC?

If this business means so much to you, then put in the work it requires to get it off the ground. Don`t be a dependant on the government.
