We launched two new categories in the StartupNation community forums: Boomers Back in Business and All Things Green.

The Boomer category is for the over 50 crowd. Starting a business at this stage in life brings with it unique challenges and of course wonderful opportunities. This is the place to hash all of that out.

Responding to the groundswell of "green practices" in business, we`ve created a brand new forum category dedicated to (gre)entrepreneurs. We can`t imagine anything more exciting than mixing social, conservational, and/or environmental passion into a business mission to bring out the best in an entrepreneur..

Make certain that you opt in to receive email notifications of posts in these new forum categories by selecting the red Activate forum alert link in the right column on the forum main page.

Hi Joel,

This is the ChickenPotPie Lady.  Is there any way i can get a copy of the photo we took together.  I`ve invested into two booths over at Tri-City Trade Center in Melvindale.  We`re pretty excited about it because all of our customers previous and current are.  I`d like to get the photo so I can expand it and have it showcased in my store and on my website.  This way Startupnation will also get more exposure that it deserves.  I now have people from SUN emailing me and telling me they can hardly wait for me to start shipping, which I`ll be doing in a few short weeks.  I`m looking forward to hearing from you.  If you`d like you may send the photo to me, Liesa Reese. 1981 S. Liddesdale, Detroit, Mi., 48217.  Thank you for your time and cooperation.  I`m looking forward to serving you and your wonderful crew again soon.

We always have these big changes ever so often and I think that Green business is going to be the next wave. in my opinion.

I`m also in the processing of researching several green businesses or business practices for 2009.
