One thing you could do is design your website with a questionaire based direction to the products. that way you can keep tabs on what interests and what doesn`t.

Like when people enter, you ask them to select from a list what interests them. It may also be possible using Java applets that when people hit the back button a little pop up window asks them if they haven`t found what they`re looking for to type in keywords for what does interest them and ask them if they would like help to find it. You can keep the replies for a statistical record.

this is a common problem with most websites that try to sell something.  ask yourself how hard you are trying to sell your product or service on your website?  the harder you try the more you will fail at it.

the key to making sales is to overdeliver of good quality information that your visitor will find helpful and useful.  providing quality information for free will build trust and credibility and will warm up your visitor to purchase your product or service.

this technique is called preselling and it works well whether you have your own business or you are an affiliate marketer.  don`t sell the product, rather, stress the benefits.  don`t stress the features but rather what is your visitor/potential buyer to gain from your product or service.

it is true that your language, layout, images, this and that all make a difference. but none of them make nearly as much difference as what you say and how you say it.  focus on preselling and the sales are guaranteed to come.

the art of preselling doesn`t come natural and many have worked hard to master it.  i have some free ebooks i can share with anyone who wants a copy. contact me and i will email one to you.  i think its just over 100 pages and it goes over preselling in good detail as well as how to do it in a step by step manner.

good luck
