One way you can promote your business locally is to involve
yourself in tradeshows. The costs range from $200-1500,
depending on location and event. You will get very useful
feedback from the booth visitors. Their personal comments will
help you learn about your own service or product. Aside from
local tradeshows, what are ways you sell or display your
products or services to the general public?

We are attending our first TradeShow in Las Vegas in July.  We are in the Cosmetic Industry and buyers from major companies and sales reps attend looking for new products. This is a world-wide trade show though, not local.
