I just did the BIG roadshow and wanted to report back.  As I said before, I applied over the phone last year having sent in a prototype, and was rejected.  I`m really glad I got the chance for a face to face meeting this year.  It was in one of the conference rooms at the Mariott.  It was very calm  and relaxed; I waited in a small quiet lobby area right by the check-in desk.  There were a couple of other people, but they were called in right away.  The presentation is truly face to face.  The woman that evaluated my product sat in front of me at the table on which I demonstrated.  I think they are pretty cut and dry.  She started asking questions right away, and she chimed in through out my presentation.  She made it more like a conversation.  Her questions were direct. and from what I gathered, they know what they want.  Overall I think it went well.  It`s funny, but I like this company because they rejected me last year.  It gives me comfort to know that they only take on products they are sure they can license or bring to market.

You say you don`t like doing the detail work.

Unless you hire someone to take care of all those details it`s inevitable for any business.

Even just selling your licensed ideas is a business and there will be details to tend to.

I`ve had a hard time with the details. What works best is the writing a list thing and getting it done.

I`m also an idea generator. I focus on the idea I feel has the most potential.

Thanks for your response.  I also do best with lists.  I can do the detail stuff.  I just don`t enjoy it. I guess I`m not alone.
