I think I posted this in the wrong forum.  I will edit and repost in the critique forum.  Yhis is not a web page or site but a blog.  Early stage of development at this point.
I would appreciate any opinions regarding the following blogs that refer to two new tools I have created and posted using blogs.  I am new to blogs and this type of posting.  Any help appreciated.  Main concern in this early stage is the idea and usefulness of the inventions.

The first link returned a "not found" error.

The second link took me to a blog, but YIKES!!
Talk about big!

Definitely needs a redesign. I almost saw the tool, but with images changing, text all over the place, fonts too big, and so forth, I ended up falling into a coma.

The first link doesn`t go to an existing blog.
The second link does take me to your blog.  It isn`t apparent to me right away what your new tool does, but after looking at the photos, I think I figured it out.

I would put a succinct photo and paragraph at the top of the blog - this is the tool and this is what it does.  What I didn`t see anywhere is what`s in it for me?  What is the benefit of using your tool?

Are you selling the tool?  I didn`t see any information about how I get my hands on one.

I am new to this blog stuff and am currently working on refining it.  Your suggestions are great and I will try to incorporate them.  I think I posted this in the wrong forum.  It is really an invention I am developing.  I will add an explanation of purpose and try toi describe the best way I can in the poroper forum.
Thanks for your input.  Try the links again as they are updated.

Thanks for your YIKES warning Craig.  I have no idea what the site is about, but your yikes warning kept me from going any futher! Sometimes, I think there are a lot of sites posted on here that we should probably be leary of clicking on.  How can we be sure they are not sites full of viruses???? That`s what I find very scary about the internet.

So..... I didn`t meant to interupt......... Hope Craigs`s and Steve`s advice was helpful for you.

LOL! Nah, the "yikes" was for size! It`s pretty rare to run into a site with viruses attached, and for the most part we can pretty easily see in the posting that sort of thing.

Fritz,
Now that I was able to see the first link site, that`s a WHOLE lot better than the second! The only thing that bothers me is how many people automatically know the term "Tonneau?" I take it this is a world-wide brand name for a car cover?

What I`d like to see would be your main picture actually including the cover, if that`s the situation. The one you have shows something like a car window and your invention. At first I thought it was a way to break a window, or to make some sort of repair to a window.

What I`d also suggest would be to have a professionally done video, showing how to use the invention. Extract 3 frames from that video for stills (or have them shot on the set), and use those as static pictures on a Web site.

From there, it`s only a matter of a shopping cart, and a "Buy now!" option.

I don`t see a lot of success using a "blog" to sell or promote the invention, unless it was a blog about car-care products.

Craig,
You are right.  Tonneau covers only apply to truck owners and there are other types of covers that do not use the snap style.  Pretty select group.  I was just curious to check and see if there was any interest.
Thank you for your insightfuls comments.

I like your product and love your concept of selling attachments for quick clamps; don`t forget all the hobbiests and non-industrial users too (I can imagine you have a million additional accessories which can extend your brand) ... I`ve had an issue with getting the snaps on (and off) and can see where your solution could be handy.  Best of luck to you!
