That is an interesting article. Also, I would recommend having easy navigation on the site and to make sure all the links work.
I have seen your tips but my some other tips are as bellow :
1. Be confident about the design products that you find easily.
2. Display all the details for the product in the design.
3. Try to give a proper link in the designing.
4. Make sure that the product must see clearly in the design.
5. Choose the perfect color scheme for the product in the design.
