I am the one who always made sure Jeff and Rich were aware of important things going on in the world.  You may have read about me in their book "StartupNation: Open For Business".  For years I have been coined "Director of Clippings".  Lately I have been keeping my sons informed by sending them links to articles online.  Today for example, I sent them the following links of interest ( and I thought you might be interested too) -

Keep `em comin SUN mom.  I know that we don`t really know each other and we haven`t really experience your wisdom first hand but since your kids own SUN I think that it would be appropriate if we went ahead and gave you the official title of SUN MOM.

Also... When Jeff posts, it`s usually the "knock-off-the-goofing-off and-get-back-to-work-on-your-entreprenuerial-dream" type thing. Can you nudge him to loosen up a little bit?

So glad you`re here willing to share your wisdom. 

I think there should be a special `Mother SUN` section on this site where the links & tips you send to your sons could be shared with all of us SUNs.  Very cool! 

I betcha never thought you`d have so many SUNs.  You`ll have more SUNs than anyone!  It`ll be Sunsational!  Okay, someone tell me to stop this nonsense and get back to work! 

WOW!  I`m finally getting the acknowledgement that my sons "don`t have time, Mom" to give me.

The Osmonds used to do this with their mom.  They had "Mother Osmond" post pearls of wisdom on their website before she passed away.  I thought it was awesome for them to basically say, "We STILL listen to our mom!"  Mother Osmond used to post "clippings" of interesting things she saw or products she liked or stories about her kids and grandkids, etc.  They were kind of fun to read at times. 

When I grow up, I want to do my elevator pitch to Momma Sloan!!!!
