Hi,
Im tryng to get the EIN online, for my LLC and my business name starts with the word "The" ....
Well, when I get to the end of the process, before I click on send, I see that
the form sorta deleted the "The"...

For example..suppose the name is "The Mary pencil company LLC...in the end, ends up as  "Mary pencil company LLC"...
Where did the THE go?

I tried 3 times... low caps, caps, none worked.

so...any workarounds???

I would call the IRS at (800) 829-4933 to receive your number immediately over the phone.

MonaLisa,

I believe that is nothing but word wrap. The box is not big enought to the full name but it is still there.  I think if you get to the end of the line and then with the right arrow go back you will see that the "The" is still there.
