On my opinion, real estate is still the best business opportunity today cause of the low cost of most property at this state. For future business, it is good to start investing in solar energy, for the next 20 years, the demand for electricity will increase and hybrid system will be implemented.

I was fortunate to find my niche in the promotional advertising industry, selling B2B, over 28 years ago.  And I'm more passionate about it today than I was when it was all so new and exciting to me.

It's a great industry, that the average person either is born into it through a family member or else discovers it after retirement from their life-long career.

Starting from scratch wasn't easy, especially for a sole-bread winner, but the long-term rewards were definitely worth the lean years in the beginning.

Now, my business is relatively recession and disaster-proof, having survived a direct hit from Hurricane Rita and all the economic turmoil of the past 4 years.  In spite of the current conditions, I just finished my latest sales year with a 38% increase in sales and started the new year with a 25% increase for September.

I'll consider retirement in 38 years at my 97th birthday.  No way do I want to quite prematurely.

And I encourage others to explore the options of what could be the best low-cost, home-based opportunity for them today!

I think you are on the money here. With the advancement of technology people are subjected to change at a more rapid rate than anytime in history. The one thing I stress to my children is learn how to learn very rapidly

Opening an e-commerce site is a great business. By making it very simple to use and with great offers it can easily get popular.

One of the hottest businesses right now is providing aerial surveillance drones for law enforcement and Homeland Security. Obama signed an aviation order in February allowing for the commercial usage of drones in national airspace for the first time in US history.

Our company was formed to provide these services as well as helping our fellow entrepreneurs to break into the business.

Hi all,

This is my fist post as well. Rich I love the concept of this page and feel its what I've been looking for in my search for direction. With that said, the post that caught my attention was the baby boomer post by Eric. It sparked a though in my mind of my parents and other boomers constantly failing to keep up with the changes in technology. I think there are few different channels of communication that could be taken to provide updated technology information in a simple format to boomers to where it would keep their attention instead of overwhelming them. Booms seem to resist change from what I can tell because of the learning curve. Once behind on say Apple products its hard to pick up an Ipad if you've never played with an Ipod. Anyway new technology is always coming out and by keeping the large population of boomers informed, it would be beneficial to society as well as to the makers of those newer technologies. A website or a magazine with a simplified format going over new technologies that month is what comes to mine off the bad if were talking channels of communication.
