I have been on hiatus for the last 3 weeks. I finally got my system up & stable.
But back to the topic: I asked 3 people I have known for years to assist me on my websites, 2 of them said "But I don`t know how to build a website.", the fact is I never asked them to build a site.
I tried many times to explain to them that I needed someone to write articles, find information, etc. but they could not bridge the gap.
The 3rd person could not understand what Joomla is and decided he could not write articles for me, even though I told him I can convert ANY format to what I need.
All 3 are experienced Internet users, but all 3 are also over 50 years old. Coincidence?
I posted a question to younger people on a message board, the replies I got were basically the same. They did not understand how to write about their own life experiences in a way that anybody would read.
So I guess I should look for people who are my age (47), have the same computer experience I do (27 yrs.) and can understand what their connotation of success is.
Yes Nichole, I know I`m "lumping".
I also discovered that asking someone to write in exchange for "exposure", is considered to be the "Ultimate insult to writers".

So I have been unable to find anyone who will write or do other tasks, in exchange for a percentage of future income (if any). Am I the only risk taker left?
I`m eagerly waiting to hear responses to this!
