In 2010, Top 5 marketing tactics are Social Network Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Article/Blog Marketing, Blog comments and Business profiles.
Some excellent suggestions, but I'm a little surprised nobody mentioned retargeting. For those who aren't familiar with it, the way retargeting works is by placing a small snippet of code on your site which gathers information about visitors who browse but leave before making a purchase. The info is used to display your ad to those potential customers as they surf other sites. It's so effective that Google just announced that they're offering retargeting (or remarketing, as they refer to it) with their Adwords campaigns. Just something else you may want to consider.
