As a lot of you might know Virginia has issued their smoking ban in restaurants. I see this as a business opportunity. There are now a lot of smokers that would pay to smoke at a bar/club. My idea is to open a private club with the title "The Speakeasy" it would be 20's themed and have a full bar, pool tables, poker tables. I even have the idea for the cigarette girls.

If anyone  could supply me with information about opening a private club in Virginia, or have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Will you have issues w/ legality? I think it would depend on how your states smoking ban is written and what kind of rights/restrictions a "private" club has there in VA.

My point is you probably want to talk to a lawyer before you get very far down the road.
