Yah, I`m kinda thinkin` the same way. Reminds me of IBM and their belief that having only proprietary technology, then removing it from the market on a cyclic basis would be the best way to go.

Of course IBM is still around in the PC industry, to some extent. But how did Dell get to be so big? If we could say that Nintendo can`t supply enough Wii games because they`re more focused on selling cars, computers, or hot-air balloons, then fine. But as far as I know, Nintendo has only one line of business---their game boxes.
