Please take a minute to visit www.myplace2sell.com and try it on for size.  You can post a free listing about your business and post a video too!

Key Critique Questions:
  • Is it obvious what the site is intended for.
  • Is the process of posting a listing user friendly.
  • Any screen sizing issues or browser issues?  I know it looks and functions well in IE and Firefox.
  • How is the page load speed?
The intention of the site is to provide a place for people and/or businesses to advertise their products and services using video.

I know video marketing is still a fairly new concept but it can have great power for your business for consumers to see something in action.  From my experience it is effective for gaining consumer trust.  If you are reticent about the technology or video in general, I`m interested in those comments and discussing ways to overcome this.

In return for posting a listing, you will be the beneficiary of a new wave of traffic that will be generated in 2 weeks.  My site will be featured in a new book released in 2 weeks featured on Amazon called "The Million-Dollar Idea in Everyone".

Thanks in advance for taking the time and I wish everyone well in their business ventures!

Brandon, this isn`t just blatant self-promotion, it`s SPAM!!! If you want to run an ad, do it in the marketplace! What if we all started advertising our businesses in the forum? Where would it end?

When I started selling a product I invented several years ago, I naively thought that setting up a website was all I needed to do to get orders.  I learned the hard way that making sales and getting exposure for my product was even more difficult than setting up the business itself.  Luckily for new entrepreneurs, that has changed.

The MyPlace2Sell web site is a great example of the many sales and publicity avenues available to new business owners these days.  Don`t stick with just one.  If you`re already selling on eBay or Craigslist, there`s no reason not to explore options like this one as well.  The more places that link to your site and product, the better.

To make the most of your online classified:
- Talk about the benefits (Why should I buy this?)
- Show the product in action  (Think QVC!)
- End with a call to action (Buy today, To learn more, visit my website at ...)
- Updated regularly (Keep your offerings current so people get a sense of urgency)

Good luck!

Hello,

I think it took me too long to find the "Post free listing" link.

Thanks, I`ll consider some alternatives to making it more noticeable.
