I just signed up with SuN and wanted to say THANKS!  I`ve recently started my business hand crafting dog biscuits made from local and organic ingredients.  By focusing on local ingredients I`m able to help support local agriculture here in Maine and give dogs a healthy snack with as little "food miles" as possible.  Our packaging is completely compostable in your home compost, adding to the reduced footprint our product has on the Earth.  To even go further with the "green" theme, producers and providers that we work with from raw ingredients to packaging to even our credit card processing use wind and solar power to operate their facilities.  We aim to have a product that equally as good for this Earth as it is for your dog!

I think the best thing about SuN is to begin realizing just how widespread is this movement toward the entrepreneurial cottage industry again. It`s what basically created America in the first place, and to see such a massive resurgence is fantastic! With all of us living wherever we are in the world, it`s a fantastic resource just to know that we`re not all on our own. If anyone is wavering on the "start my own business" decision, just seeing the increasing number of other people going ahead is often all they need. It`ll be great to hear from you how your own business is starting to take off! :-)

Thanks Craig!  It is really amazing to see all these small businesses starting up all over the place.  Where I live in Maine, everyone`s got their own business.  We don`t have "box" stores within an hour of any direction from here, which is a great breath of fresh air.

This past week I got my products into 5 food co-ops and natural food stores around Maine, so things are going good so far :)  Thanks again for the support!
