I`d want to hear about the challenges and struggles of starting his first business since that`s where I`m at.

No 6. Not after yesterday`s discussion. Which was kind of Steve`s fault. He kept egging me on.

I would really like to know what his management style was early on. Was he the man that did everything early on or was he the kind of guy that delegated most things?

How much time did he spend in the trenches before he broke out and considered himself to be independent? And taking that a step further, at what point did he consider himself financially weathly? I know that most of his wealth is firmly embedded in his attitude toward life and the way that he approaches each day, but I`m talking about the financial freedom that we so often speak of.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately, Richard Branson is not the Internet type, fact which you can read from his own book: "Screw it, let`s do it!" from Virgin Books...

But you will never know, until you try!

Thanks,
George.

as one of branson`s fellow brits once said, "try something. if that doesn`t work, try something else. but above all, TRY!"

though probably a little butchered, credit goes to the one and only winston churchill.

I like the story of Richard Branson betting the CEO of Qantas (I think) airlines that he would wear a stewardess uniform on a Qantas flight, if Virgin Antlantic didn`t begin flights to Australia.
Here`s the letter... http://www.thetravelinsider.info/info/virginlettertoqantas.h tm
It did make me think. Would Jeff wear a StartUp Nation stewardess uniform if Richard Branson agreed to post on the forum?
