Good, now that that is out of the way:

We return now to our regularly scheduled programming.

If anyone is still interested in taking a shot at the tagline contest on this forum, I for one would appreciate your input. I still think this can be an informative exercise.

If anyone feels the need to discuss the validity of this activity, then either send me a PM, or for general discussion, start a thread, post the header here and then we can debate the pros/cons as interest dictates.

The floor is now open.

LOL ... reconsidering the "let`s meet for drinks" confab at the Butcher Block Palace? (fun to brainstorm brand names and taglines; meat market taglines are fun, e.g., "Nobody beats our meat!" --used by someone).

I`m happy to see this open again, if it means it`s like the brand building 10-word elevator pitch where I vetted our Tiger Taco nut (me, me, me).

I gleaned this from the original post: "A tagline, or branding slogan, is typically used in marketing materials and advertising. The idea behind a tagline is to create a memorable phrase that will sum up the tone and premise of a brand or product."

We`ll give 12 free Tiger Tacos (that`s 3 pounds of steel folks!~) and a Show Me Your Taco t-shirt to the winner of a Tiger Taco Tagline contest (no catfights or flamethrowers allowed; and no, you’re not a winner just for trying;~).

I`m a n00b here so tell me if I`m on a wrong thread, but rather than post a tagline for concrete houses ("Like a tomb; only with windows."), I`d like to offer up my Tiger Taco tagline for grins and giggles and refining what we now use: "Tiger Tacos, the new American cleanse." (lol) [btw Nice Taco has what we did for a Social Media Club contest, and it’s like the ICF thing; not sure how/what/why something so specific to them works into this open thread here.?]

BurninGreen: while we ship free Tiger Tacos to people on this listserv who ask (duh, "you" are ideal image chatter us), and I can`t guess what our legal would say about putting something created/spawned here into our works, but is there a way to do a contest/poll for these kinds of things? Is this in the vein of what you intended, or should I just STFU and post our real Tiger Taco tagline(s)?

I opened this up based on an e-newsletter I got from the PCA.  It was their contest, I just thought it would be fun to play with it here.  However, there is no limit to it being just their contest.  If you want to hold one for your product, let `er rip!

As far as polling or surveying taglines, there is a way to set up a survey on this site, then post it for feedback.  You need to have all your possible entries identified and then put up on the survey.  I don`t believe you can have it modified dynamically by other suggestions once it is posted.

Anyone else with experience on this?

It`s a static survey, and you don`t get the number of people who participate (so you can`t get percentages). It`s just a fun way to run a quick poll.
