Watch The Secret Movie. It can change your life.
The Secret Movie  is a thought-provoking documentary-style movie about manifesting and how to use The Law of Attraction to create whatever you want in your life.

The Secret movie helps you understand just how important it is to consciously choose the thoughts you hold each day; to keep your thoughts and actions focused on what you really want to attract into your life. It is all up to you. Take charge of your thoughts, and you`ll take charge of your life.

Now watch it online For Free While it is Still Available.

It`s like a trailer for the Da Vinci Code!

I think I am less likely to watch it after the trailer.
And I`m certainly not getting sucked into a squeeze page just to watch this thing.

It`s funny when people talk about 200% of their brainpower going in to the sole thought of _____ to achieve their success.
And honestly, sometimes I just like to be dumb and watch TV.
Maybe that makes me less successful ... but it also makes me less stressed and happier when I have some downtime and not trying to do jedi mind tricks every waking second of my day!

So, I guess what I am saying is that this is not a very effective ad campaign for someone like me.

This is another example of taking a complex topic and reducing it to the bullet points and simplistic answers. A better version of this whole topic would be "Think and Grow Rich," written by Napolean Hill. That was a topic of a book club attempt, here on SuN a few months ago. There`s a free PDF version of the whole book.

:-) Just an ironic note, Nikole, wasn`t it you who wanted it short and sweet? The summary, I think it was, where business articles were boiled down to their essence?

I believe if you take charge of your thoughts, you will then act to bring about the things you desire.

yes. I said this to a friend last night. The secret may be a good book or a good mode of thinking. Since I work in customer service I see tons of individuals that are very miserable. I`ll say good morning. and they will reply "What`s so good about it?"

that`s pretty bad. You can`t do positive if you don`t think positive. But the Keyword there is "Do". Positive thinking is wonderful it`s what keeps me and probably others on here going. But at the end of the day you have to do. For example, I went to my first business networking event and found two potentially good contacts. I have some people that are interested in helping me with my games. It`s still up to me to organize, and  orchestrate their efforts. I have to complete the action for my business and life to work.

Not sure if this was the way the original poster wanted the topic to go but.... hey that`s where we are.

I agree that doing is crucial.  Thinking alone wont do the job.

Actually, if you`re going to postulate that there is an energy force to the universe, and that also some type of conscious intent is at work, there`s a bigger question. "Who" is doing "what" kind of thinking, imagining, and doing?

I`ve experienced times in my life where my own thinking was very pessimistic. Yet things worked in my favor, things went well, and my life had many solutions. I`ve also had times where I was thinking highly optimistically, doing what I do, and everything fell apart, failed, didn`t work, and collapsed.

How to account for and reconcile this seeming contradition to the entire "secret" is something we don`t hear about much.
