Hi everyone I am writing from Australia.

I am interested in perusing a Business idea related to sustainability. Does
anyone know of any publications (white papers, websites etc. anything)
that might explore what the market might need/want in this area in the
near future?

My gut feel tells me that I would like to have a web focus and an info
business direction – the problem is that there is plenty information out
there related to sustainability. How can one make money in this general
direction?

Australia, like the USA does not have a government which creates a carrot
and stick situation to edge communities/people to move onto a different
mindset.

I will be most grateful for any pointers.

Cheers

Try http://www.davidsuzuki.org/ which is the site for the foundation run by Dr. David Suzuki. There`s a fair amount of info on sustainablilty there.

I don`t know if would help but you can try http://www.solarenergy.net/ as well.

Something I keep reading about is how companies add polution reduction technology to their operations happen to also save a lot of money - usually more than enough to pay for the technology. See if you can search some newspaper business sections for this.

Would one business idea for you be to do audits where you can help companies save money on energy and be cleaner at the same time?

Good luck,
Neil
