I am 30 y.o. and want to have my own business while working full-time. I am a CPA, working for a good company about 35 hours a week and making 85K in cash +benefits. Total comp is around 105K.
There is a very good location by my office to open a Subway franchise( a lot of high rise buildings and upscale clientelle. Business would be the best during weekdays. The area is not residential.
I have a lot of business ideas (mostly buying ans selling) but Subway franchise looks like the easiest option to start a business (where I can learn all the details of running a business).
I am a little bit nervous because I have to rely on somebody to run the store. I beleive I can net around 40K a year from the shop.
Should I do it? Do you think it worth it? Am I looking for trouble?
P.S. If I decide to do It I will have to take a loan from SBA.
