Hey all, I have a small but active local news media website and as we stumble through this maze of advertising, what works and what doesn`t, I`d like to provide my advertisers with some stats on their ads. How many visits, pageviews, time spent, etc. etc.

Anyone have an idea or suggestion on exactly what I should show them? I figure I have three things to keep in mind here:

1.) Don`t overdo it and use the K.I.S.S. method
2.) Provide data and short explanations that make sense or would be valuable
3.) Be able to create these reports easily in analytics without a bunch of excel tables that have to be edited monthly.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Along side that... show them where the hotspots on your website are.  If you can show click through rate that would be good as well.

You can setup your own click tracking system and show them how many clicks their ads received and you can count page views from you analytics program as impressions. Then you can show them a click through ratio based on those numbers.

That`s a lot of ads on there!
