Job Description
summary: The Web Design Developer is in part
responsible for the daily management of the StartupNation website, adding new
web pages, features and functionality as is planned in our editorial and
technology plans. The Web Design Developer is also involved in the development
of future website design activities based on the strategic plans of
StartupNation.
You MUST possess
these skills:
- Proficient
in HTML coding
- Proficient
in CSS. Able to create CSS to support complete design of a web page.
- Able to
create and manipulate graphics in Adobe Photoshop for web use.
- Proficient
in Adobe ImageReady to slice images to work within CSS design. Able to optimize
images to an appropriate quality, size, and file format.
- Ability to
work around dynamic programming code (work within .asp pages)
- Ability to
manipulate and insert existing JavaScript into web pages
- Experience
with Macromedia Dreamweaver
- Ability to
work in a structured project timeline and accurately estimate hours for work
completion
