Currently in the market place we only see text ads. Are you guys thinking about letting Community members upload their banners? Example: I want to run a promotion on the market place, I want to be able to upload a banner, enter information such as how many days am I running the promotion for, and then the banner automatically deactivates. or perhaps you can choose how many promotions you want to run and the number of people that sign up.
Also, Please get rid of all those Banners that are posted all over the web site. I thought we where a close community where you can only be a member if you sign up? Instead of having company`s like buy domain.com and microsoft, why not let the community post their adds...
Im stating this because "Buydomains.com is a competitor of mine... and that is not cool... You guys are basically crushing a small business to put 2.00 bucks in your pocket through their affiliate program.. Not that I am hurting over two bucks but its cold.
Just my thoughts nothing else..

Hey Edgar - image support is coming soon for Marketplace, and we`ll definitely factor in your suggestion about the banner placements, sounds interesting!
As far as the advertisements on the site, we certainly hope they don`t negatively impact the community, we`re very sensitive to that - we also have to support the business though, and the only way we can offer so much at no cost is through advertising (that`s not an affiliate relationship). We do carefully review those relationships though, and would welcome any input on those decisions.
