Currently in the market place we only see text ads. Are you guys thinking about letting Community members upload their banners? Example: I want to run a promotion on the market place, I want to be able to upload a banner, enter information such as how many days am I running the promotion for, and then the banner automatically deactivates. or perhaps you can choose how many promotions you want to run and the number of people that sign up.

Also, Please get rid of all those Banners that are posted all over the web site. I thought we where a close community where you can only be a member if you sign up? Instead of having company`s like buy domain.com and microsoft, why not let the community post their adds...
Im stating this because "Buydomains.com is a competitor of mine... and that is not cool... You guys are basically crushing a small business to put 2.00 bucks in your pocket through their affiliate program.. Not that I am hurting over two bucks but its cold.
Just my thoughts nothing else..

Hey Edgar - image support is coming soon for Marketplace, and we`ll definitely factor in your suggestion about the banner placements, sounds interesting!

As far as the advertisements on the site, we certainly hope they don`t negatively impact the community, we`re very sensitive to that - we also have to support the business though, and the only way we can offer so much at no cost is through advertising (that`s not an affiliate relationship). We do carefully review those relationships though, and would welcome any input on those decisions.

Looking forward to adding better photo`s to my profile with that camera I`m gonna win!

Hey Nuevolution - there`s nothing stopping you from buying banner space on SuN.  In fact, what a great way to not only get awesome exposure but also really give back to the community by being a part of the reason they can offer so much for free...

13. What is your marital status?

That particular question does not allow for "partnered, but not married" or "in a long-term relationship."

Not all people can legally get married or want to be married...

OK - so the fact is it is a survey. Meant for the masses - a generalization
at best. Many people in long term relationships not legally married do still
consider their partnership a marriage. Anything coming together like the
"marriage of ideas" . . . and so on. Why do some consider nit-picking
constructive feed-back??? This is why in response to one of the questions
I said I usually do not participate. But, I applaude your tenacity because
you really do have to kiss a lot of frogs to find the prince. Did the survey
help you? Did it answer your burning questions? Then great. If not - I
hope you find the right question in this forum otherwise a forum is just a
bunch of cocktail small-talk. Sorry - thems pretty strong words I know
may offend some.

I don`t consider it "nit picking" when I can`t legally get married.  It is something that anyone conducting surveys should consider when trying to get a valid sampling.  I was able to get married to my partner (of 14 years at the time) in 2004 and it was struck down by the courts.  If that were to happen to you your perspective on the matter might be a bit different.  Such things do matter to some people.  I`m just surprised to get such a rude response on SuN.

Rudeness was certainly not my intent. It has been so long now since I
answered the questions - my question is - Married or not married how
relavent was that to what the survey was trying to find out. At this
moment the forum has become a forum about the fact that you can not
marry your partner and not what the survey or SuN is even about. I wish
you much love and happiness with your partner - and personally feel that
anyone who wants to marry should be able to. I`m going to go look at
your websites now and wish you much success in your business. Thank
you for responding.
