Is there a way to sort posts by posting date?  I like replying to posters, but I don't want to search through all the posts to find the ones that are current.  Someone that posted two years ago won't even see my advice.

Also, if you create a new post, can you be notified by email when someone replies?

I am just gonna share my story on what I thought was a bug. I signed up and then I logged in. when the time I want to post a reply, I can't post it because I never thought that there's this confirmation thing. Silly me  ... now I checked my account and found out that there is this link that I can click about my status. But It's okay now...

Everytime I try to create a new thread, I get this error:

"Please enter from 5 to 50 symbols"

I haven't been on this site since 2007. I just requested a new password and logged in. I wanted to see what was new and meet some other SBO's and try some market research.

I noticed the new dashboard had a map showing other members in my area. But when I clicked on the red markers and then clicked the members profile, it showed their last login date was all 0000's, implying that either they have never logged in, or these are fake or spam accounts. So that immediately made me wary that this site has a problem. The members page didn't have any content, photos or forum posts so I figured they were psam accounts. So why hasn't SU admins cleaned up the memers list? Do you charge advertisers rates based on the aty of "member accounts" so you want to keep the numbers as high as possible, even if they are not real or not active accounts?

Second, at the bottom of each page there is an annoying floating advertising banner for white papers from Verisign. I have to click "No thanks" on each page to get rid of this. Finally I decided to fill in the form with fake info to try to get rid of the advertising banner. But it keeps coming back.

Third, after reading through a couple of forum posts, I have the opinion that this site doesn't have anything to offer me. The caliber and quality of the postings and the people making the posts seems pretty low and I feel it is a waste of time.

I'm just wondering what happened to this site? Did you the authors give up and stop trying to make it good, or was it sold to someone else who has neglected it?

 

Everytime I try and create a new topic it says: Please enter 5 to 640000 symbols in Red.  I cant create a new topic but i can post on other messages.  Anyone else getting this error?
