I agree about the buttons at the bottom.  I hope that there is a plan for them to lead to related content one day?

Also--if I hover over "Resources", everything to the right of it in the nav sort of strobes.  It`s fairly irritating.  (Using Firefox on a Mac/Leopard OSX)

Congratulations on the release of your site.

The coolest thing for me is the Grade Check feature. I`m not involved in collegiate sports but I certainly am a proponent of making sure our athletes are also keeping up with their schooling - the successful ones who make it need to set an example for all the new athletes who try to make it.

A couple of points:

• You`ll want to include your site`s name in each page`s title so that I always know where I am (the title shows up in your browser`s title bar)
  
• You`ll want a metadata description that describes exactly what your site is for (maybe a variation on your 10-word elevator pitch)
  
• You don`t have many useful keywords in your metadata keyword section for search engines to use
• I agree with a previous responder that white text on a black background is hard on the eyes and discourages me from reading
• You`ll want to do a permanent redirection of showcaseu.com to www.showcaseu.com; yep, they are different (have a look at http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php)
