As promised this is the forum for your morning coffee conversation. (At least until we receive a letter on trademark violations comes from a group of corporate lawyers.)
I`ll start it off: I`m drinking a wonderful cup of convenience store coffee... mmmm.... bitter.
Chilly out here in central PA. But when isn`t it?
Watching CNBC. Why didn`t I buy oil options?
I have a large golden retriever paw on my leg now. She either wants to say hello to y`all or is demanding more attention.
Have a good day citizens of the StartUp Nation.

Matt

Morning Matt.

I`m eating leftover Easter candy since it`s 2 pm my time.
I did start my morning with my cocoa/water/coffee blend.  Yum.
Watching FoxNews.
It`s a sunny 96 degrees in nothern Iraq this afternoon.
Blundering my way through updating my business plan...  Changing from brick and mortar to e-business changes some things!

I`m sitting here catching up on SUN before I go out to work for the rest of the morning. Usually I work at home, but today I have outside appointments. Of course, I have my coffee. I`m on my second cup of Irish Cream this morning. I make it at home from mail-order Gevalia coffee. Mmmmm!

It`s also sunny and cool here in NW Ohio, Matt. Probably just about like PA. But it`s supposed to hit 70 maybe today. It`s been a beautiful spring!

Later today, I want to get back home and continue working on my business plan. Thanks to everybody who has helped me so far. I`m making progress.

Have a great day!

Made it into work already, though I did scan this thread from the kitchen counter while fixing breakfast for the girls.  Made the mistake of popping a handful of easter M&Ms into my mouth on the way by an Easter basket, which resulted in my being shadowed by Elizabeth my almost 2yr old yelling "Emma!  Emma! Emma!" in the hopes that she, too, can have M&Ms for breakfast.  She cannot.

24oz caffeine free Diet Pepsi in hand (although mostly gone already due to a longer than usual commute), I begin my day.  Have a good day, everybody.

Hey Gang,

Had my home-made cup of Maxwell House coffee on my hour drive in to work this morning.  Switched over to Pepsi (right with ya BardStuff) and am getting my morning fix of the forums.

A little sneak peak for the Coffee club: We will be launching  the first Forum Categories tonight to better organize the postings.  These were derived from your suggestions and current postings.  (we`ll have to shut down the forums for about a 1/2 hour so we want to do it at night when there is less activity)

We`re trying to make it easier to find what you`re lookin` for by adding some structure....while attempting to keep the freeform nature alive and kickin`!  You`ll have to let me know what you think tomorrow.

TrueGRITS, I didn`t realize you were switching to e-business!  Why did you decide to switch?

BardStuff, your post cracked me up.

Woke up late, fast shower, closed all the windows cause it looks like a storm might roll in this afternoon out here in Atlanta.

Quick 45 min drive to the office, caught up on some pod casts (still SOO behind), yelled at some slow drivers (it`s 35, not 25 or 25 mph!).

Sat down at my desk, loaded up my computer (2 email clients, 3 IM`s, bunch of stuff in the background), checked to make sure there were no fires to put out (i minor issue but it can wait).

Popped open my Dr. Pepper (programmer fuel), open up a web browser and headed to the nation. Saw people "starting it up", getting on track, fleshing out ideas and make connections.

Today`s going to be a good day.

Lisa, I switched to e-business when Rich suggested it.  I`m getting out of the army in November, but I`m also getting married.  My new husband will owe another 4 long years.  I`m not willing to wait that long to go into business for myself.  I expect that we`ll be in our current location in TN for that time and it`s not the ideal business location.   Something about seedy pawn shops and strip clubs just isn`t going to attract my customers...  So a pretty website will!

actually, the online shop is a step in the direction of the `brick and mortor` store you want to open. it just seems to fit your lifeplan and circumstances a little better initially... rock on!!!
