Hey all,

Let`s start a fun thread. What do you collect? Antiques? Vintage Hot Wheels? Pez dispensers? Spouses? (just kidding) Do you buy and sell on eBay? What`s your best eBay story?

I`m a Snoopy girl.  :)  To such an extent that I spent $400 in the span of an hour the first time I went to Knott`s Berry Farm.  I have all sorts of nifty ebay finds Snoopy-wise.  Probably one of the most amusing was a Peanuts cookbook with such delectables as Happiness is a Hot Cheese-Tomato Sandwich (have to disagree there!), Peppermint Patty`s Prune Whip (can you say yuck!), Great Pumpkin Cookies (now we`re talking!), and my personal favorite - Red Baron Rootbeer.  I will probably never cook a think from the book, but it`s a neat little addition to my collection. :)

I still have my baseball card collection from when I was a kid. And Suzanne collects cookbooks, so I guess in 11 days I also collect cookbooks.

Aw, I love Snoopy too! This is a house of Peanuts fans.

I collect certain vintage dishes from a company called Vernon Kilns. I collect their commemorative plates and some patterns called the "plaids" - or at least I used to, pre-kids. My 4-y-o collects Hot Wheels cars and characters from Cars, the movie. My husband doesn`t collect anything.

Beware of Ebay...  A friend of mine started collecting airline memorabilia - things like the fine china from the first class of defunct airlines - and discovered there`s =nothing= that can`t be found on Ebay if you`re willing to become addicted to it.

I collect Roseville Pottery.  Luckily, my husband likes it too so he doesn`t flinch when I tell him I just dropped $300 for a piece of decorative clay - LOL!  He didn`t like my last piece, though - too red.

I steer clear of eBay as much as possible.  My mother, on the other hand, is an evil temptress with too much time on her hands.  She`ll call me with the listings of Roseville she KNOWS I`ll love and pretty soon, I end up owning some.
