Hey Everyone,

I am adding a links page to my site. If anyone would like to add a banner to my site in exchange for placing my banner on your site, please contact me through SUN or drop me an email to links@rdbelectronics.net

Thanks
William

Google`s formulas no longer place importance on link farms.  In fact, it can reflect negatively

A link farm may not give good ratings, but teaming up with "like products or services" will reflect good rating on the search engines.

Don`t link, for the sake of linking. Link, because your service, "hot dog manufacturer" matches will with your new contact the "bun manufacturer."

Choose your circle of friends and business partners wisely.

That`s my opinion anyway...

I think that`s excellent advice.  I get so many requests for link exchanges that I have a generic response email to reply with my regrets.  The only links I have on my site/blog are those of clients, people I actually know or services/sites I personally use.

The search engines are getting smarter.  The best and most ethical way is to only have a handful of links on a partner page (or maybe on the main page if it makes sense) to related high quality sites.
