I am interested in starting my own small business but i do not have a lot of money. Are there ways i can start my own business without much money?

There are lots of ways to start up a business with little capital.  However, these would all depend on what type of business you would like to pursue.  Try to figure out first what you would like to do.

If you want to break out from the pack and develop a sustainable business, it may make sense to find a high potential business idea, and then try and get some funding / loan from friends and family, or even a bank.

As Biziness said above, there are literally millions of people trying to start their own small online business.  Unless your business has a true competitive advantage, it will be very difficult to succeed.

try to make a good site with quality content... also build a lot of backlinks for it... In this way your traffic will increase and PR, too.

Neeraj: What kind of business do you want to start? If you don't know, then perhaps think about what gets you excited (hobbies, passions, etc.), and we can help you formulate a business idea around it.

I also recommend doing your homework first. Know exactly how you will make money and what it will really take to succeed. Far too many people are clueless in this area. Also realize that you will have to invest in things such as domain names, web hosting and an autoresonder in order to make any real money online.

I second that. Internet business are comparatively low investment based and the best part is you know it fast whether you are gonna make it  .
