The cheap, homemade version of mocha - hot cocoa powder hydrated with mostly water and some regular coffee!

Hi Rich,

I don`t really like coffee, but I do enjoy the ritual of making a pot of tea.  I learned how to do this properly by having lived in London for a while...it`s the whole process and the products...interesting looking pot from England, Earl Grey tea leaves...one teaspoon for the cup and one for the pot and of course, my cup from Harrod`s.

Then I give my dog his vitamin and then on to see wha`t up at S.U.N.

it`s interesting, but for the at-home entrepreneurs, a trip to the coffee shop can be a pain in the ___. i live in a little town, so that trip`s easy for me... and is a way to add one other important thing to my morning ritual: greeting people as part of the start of my day. i like it. it feels good to be connected. maybe that`s what we`re all doing here on the community forums at SuN?!

you might get a kick out of the Cool Company of the Day:Tea Forte, blogged yesterday...

I think the morning meet and greet is important for me, too.
I normally get a quick traffic and road conditions report from the cashiers. Which helps my commute later.

Rich/Matt,

You are so right about the meet and greet part of the day....many times I`ll avoid it so I can keep plugging away...but then that trip to the post office or local stores, does make me feel better after having connected with people.

by the way, i thought for sure some of you would have MUCH more funky recipes for your coffee when you order it at the coffee shop... it was funny - i saw a special on TV last night on CNBC about Howard Schultz from Starbucks. During the special, he went to the counter and ordered, "Grande black, please."

He also mentioned he starts his day around 5pm and after making his own coffee at home, he reads three newspapers. that`s definitely a big part of ritual - the morning paper.

Luckily I am surrounded by great little independent coffee shops, bistros and bakeries when I want to venture outside of my home studio - and the smart ones all offer free wireless.  Of course, leaving the house means having to take a shower and actually wear something other than a T-shirt and my boxer shorts.
