Hi Everyone!

I`ve been lurking on SuN for a bit, but am just now beginning to get my feet wet in terms of posting.  I`ve tried to dig through the forums to see if this topic has ever come up, but didn`t happen to find anything, so here goes....

In addition to my coffee roasting business, I work closely with a women`s networking group.  We are looking for software to enhance our membership benefits.  I was wondering if anyone out there had experience with webinar software (something that`s fairly user friendly for ladies with a medium level of tech savvy) and/or social networking platform software (preferably that can be easily altered to do what we want it to do, not just cookie cutter stuff)?  We also need this to be at least somewhat cost effective (I know relative term) to start.  What do you think might be our best options for these tools?  Any thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your input!

Anita

these are a few.. it depends on what the needs of the group are.. you can have visual, text, audio.. even 3d virtual. I would use ning.com.. to create a free social network and you can add on apps as needed . I hope this helps.

Hi Erin!

Thanks for the suggestions!  We`ve looked at Webex, but I`m not familiar with the others so we`ll take a look at them.

As for the coffee, yes, we do our own roasting.  It`s a bit different than many others.  We use a hot air/cool air process and only roast one pound at a time.  We keep very little roasted "stock" coffee on our shelves, because we want to roast to order.  We even do create recipes (blends, roasting styles, flavors)  for individual customers.  Thanks for asking!
