This is what makes my job worth while folks:

I just received this from a bride I assisted when I learned that her reception site had fell through...3 months before her wedding:

I just wanted to thank you for all of your help. In a matter of a 10 minute conversation on the phone, you were able to find a reception site and have them help us within our budget. My fiance` Frank and I decided to go with The Sunol Golf Club. They were willing to work with us and our budget, thanks to you. You were a huge help in getting our reception planned. Thanks again for all your help and your resources. You found the last piece to our puzzle. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You!!!!

This, this my friends is why we go through the trials and tribulations we do...to help people.  Just makes me want to hug the world....

So what glorious praise have you received lately from customers that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy?

It feels awkward tooting my own horn, but here is an example of a note received from a parent of one of our cheerleaders.

"Thank you for what you do for the girls. My daughter has grown in your class. She is more assertive and confident in all she does. It is from all the encouragement and support you give her. Thank you for being a wonderful role model for her."

Ah, but dear Kindra, you didn`t toot your own horn.  As I see it you simply shared someone else`s compliment about you which is waaay more valuable than anything we could say ourselves.  After all, if someone else says something about us, it gives us credibility.  If we say it about ourselves...well, people still have to check into its validity!  :)

So come on everybody, find those gems and share them with the world....

P.S. Kindra - I soooo wish I would have finished all those cheerleading tryouts in highschool and college.  It sounds like I could have really used some of your mentorship "back in the day."  At least I got to cheer in Middle School for a year...and now every time I have a wee bit too much to drink.

MeLissa, Kindra - congrats to both of you on the kind words from clients.

Last week, I received an email from a client that simply said: Awesome
job!
