So we made a scaled demo of Solaroof International`s method for installing PV panels in no time at all - indeed in a snap - at our simple table at CCTO 2008 launch at San  Jose city hall.  The mayor of course was there with his speech, as was deputy Secretary of DOE, etc...

Every attendant was amazed to see how our SnaPV(tm) system can make installation a snap - hence the trademark.  It can now actually be done blindfold, so to speak.

The mayor`s economics policy advisors made it a point to introduce yours truly to the mayor after he finished his speech, and separately to his top executive.  They want us to move to within San Jose that is, by providing incentives.

Then today a major Southern Calif power inverter distributor agreed to our terms and conditions for a 9-figure distribution contract for 2009 alone, after a month of haggling.  Press Releases will follow.
Now you`re the first know why San Jose, California is interested in providing us with incentives to relocate 1-Solar.  It has a plan to become the world center for Green Tech, a zero-carbon footprint city,  just like it became Silicon Valley 30 years ago.
