What is the best/simplest user registration + shopping cart solution out there right now?
Here's what I want to do with it.

I want my customers to do 5 simple steps
1)Register
2)Login
3) Fill out contact and shipping info one time only (so they won't have to do it ever again)
4)Add items(or service) to a cart
5)Checkout

This is a equipment repair service website.

The goal for the site is for customers to submit info about a device they need to have repaired aka a "Service Ticket", make a payment selection based on their repair request(Overhaul or Estimate), and then checkout.  After the payment, they Print out a "service ticket" and put that into a box with the equipment to be repaired and send it in.

The next time they come back they don't have to fill in contact info or shipping info for the "service ticket". that information will automatically populate the ticket. all they do is specify the type on repair and checkout.

The solution i'm looking for should be turnkey, and customizable w/o any coding skills. Just like google apps.

Thanks in advance.

There are a few already coded solutions available. A simple search should find some.

ZenCart (an open source ecommerce program) can do all you specifuy - except... not sure about the service ticket. However, the program is very flexible on defining the various "produces/services" that you want to sell.

I purchased my Smart in April this year and haven't walked anywhere since - my life has changed! This is an X registered (Nov 2000) Blue/Black 0599cc Petrol Pulse with glass roof. It's a left hand drive with automatic/triptronic gears. Additions to this car when ordered by the previous owner were: Side airbags, air conditioning and velour floor mats. I added the basic sound upgrade and the life saving cup holder. It doesn't have an alarm, but comes with the bog standard immobiliser. Here is why you may never walk again after purchasing a Smart like mine: -Running costs are great I'd give it a

We have recently been (for a short time) the proud owners of a Smart Pulse. In the 10 weeks we had the car I drove over 3000 miles in it in total comfort. My normal car is a large family saloon, but I found the Smart a great car to drive and am very sad we no longer have it - more on that later. Our model had heated leather seats (mmmmm) and a semi automatic gear box which made driving a very relaxed experience. There is a surprising amount of space in the car with plenty of leg room for the driver (a little less for the passenger). The driving position is elevated a little like a people

I am writing this article as a Smart owner, & I hope to dispel some of the stupid 'facts' floating about on these cars. Firstly, THEY ARE SAFE, they passed some of the most rigorous Safety tests in the world. I personally owe my life to one, I'll tell you what happenned. I was driving on an A class road at about 50mph. I passed a very large vehicle, carrying new cars going in the other direction. Sitting impatiently behind it was a motorcyclist who decided to over take. I do not remember much about the impact other than thinking my air bags hadn't worked because they had deflated seconds after

It is pretty much simple functions which can be developed with a little bit of custom programming for developers. Just focus on how it remembers user information when the next time he visits the website again. Either registration or by use of session ID and cookies can be utilized to do the job.

Let the user interact and use your system/application while postponing formal registration to a later time.

The light version of this pattern is the shopping cart of an e-commerce site, where the user can accumulate relevant products in a cart and then in turn register an account if he or she chooses to make a purchase.

In the heavier version of this pattern, an anonymous user account is immediately created for the user – full with an auto-generated database ID and a complimenting cookie with the account’s ID that will ensure that the user’s details and the information he or she has entered will be remembered upon the next visit. With appropriate intervals, inactive anonymous accounts are cleared from the database in order to not clutter it up.
