Aloha, This is my first post!

I am having waayy too much trouble finding a way to package my product, a frozen baby food product. I have changed my mind a thousand times, but I think I'm just going to need some kind of resealable bag, and the frozen cubes will just be loose in the bag (like frozen peas or berries).

Problem is, we are so small, that we cant afford to have a customized product made, and I can't seem to find any resealable bags that are not made with PET plastic (that are freezer-friendly). I would be happy to find something that is biodegradable, for example made out of Natureworks PLA.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be most grateful! Being eco-friendly is central to our mission, so I thought this forum may be of help. Thanks!

Aloha!

Yes plastic is one of those best-friends/worst-enemies depending on what it is made out of and if it is reusable.

Off the top of my head, your best bet might be the kinds of bags used to freeze breast milk, as they're BPA free, (something along the lines of this- http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2967914 I used to use these when my guys were little) and they're relatively inexpensive. Maybe you can find a generic (no brand) OR track down the distributor of these.

Good luck girl!

PS If you have a site, go ahead and post it and I'll be sure to check it out!

I am sorry I can't help point you in the right direction...however I can tell you that one of my accounts has found a place to get little plastic like bottles that are corn based.

The items you are looking for are out there.

Good Luck!
