Here`s a recommendation for a good read - IMHO.

Small Giants by Bo Burlingham, Editor at Large of Inc. Magazine and coauthor of The Great Game of Business. It`s about companies that choose to be great instead of big.

Jim Collins, coauthor of Built to Last and author of Good to Great had this to say about Small Giants:

"This well-written book should inspire thousands of entrepreneurs to reject a mantra of growth-for-growth’s sake in favor of a passionate dedication to becoming the absolute best. Bo Burlingham reminds us of a vital truth: big does not equal great, and great does not equal big."

Enjoy - R@

Nikole - Thanks for the kind words. Just been slammed lately with some new business ventures - I`ve been "lurking" on the side lines when I have some time. Good to see you are still posting heavy and sharing your insights and knowledge.

Have a beautiful weekend.

Richard,

Great recommendation! I love the idea of this book! I worked for a mortgage company back in the day that believed in that idea that great didn`t have to mean big...unfortunately...they lost that focus over time and as they grew! I think this is a good book to keep handy and refer back to!

Thanks for the recommendation!
