Just wanted to know the best way to market your small business through social networks like FaceBook, Twitter etc.

If any of you has any experience please do share.

You need to spend atleast 2-3 hrs everyday in all those social hubs. Spending time means sharing something useful, participating in all boards, making friends. You can also follow the toppers, you may get some hint from them.

Create a fan page and get as much fans as you can. This can be hard at first, but of you already have a certain amounts of friends send them invites to like you fan page. The more fans you have the better.

Sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, and Twitter allow you to find and link to other people. Once linked or connected, you can keep up to date with that person's contact info, interests, posts, etc. Many people are connecting to friends and business associates with whom they had fallen out of touch. It's bringing the world together like nothing else has.

Thanks for the replies, one thing more is that if I market my Small Business through these social networks, will my website get watched by the administrators & moderators?

I read that if they found you spamming though you weren't you'll get banned in Digg, StumbleUpon & Reddit.
