Here is my question,
I am in the mids of offering Health Insurance to my employees. Does anyone know the difference between Group Insurance and Small Business Insurance and what package works best and it`s not expensive? Can someone in the community help me out?

Which Company should I go with:
1. Blue cross of California
2. Healthnet
3. Kaiser Permanente
Which one give you more for your money?

Hi Edgar,

Happy 2008!

Isn`t it time for the Southern California group to get together soon?

I searched around about one year ago and chose Pacific Care PPO through Costco.

So far we really like it. The premimums appear to be reasonable, and the paperwork (both in set up and administrating) is minimal.

Check it out through the Costco web site.

Hope this helps.

Bob

Edgar,

Yes you have to be a member, but it is well worth it. An executive membership is $100 per year, but you get 2% back on your purchases. The rebate is given to you  at renewal time.

I hate spending money, but have found they have great prices for items/supplies compared to their competitors. Supplies like check printing are at a fraction of our bank (Wash Mutual) charges. Also they have a very good 401K plan.

Work has been incredible. Sales exploded in October and have continued to climb.

Let me know what you decide about your health plan.

Take care

Bob

Discuss with all the companies. Which companies strategy will be best to you, choose that company.

If you own your building or have business personal property, including office equipment, computers, inventory or tools you should consider purchasing a policy that will protect you if you have a fire, vandalism, theft, smoke damage etc. You may also want to consider business interruption/loss of earning insurance as part of the policy to protect your earnings if the business is unable to operate.
