No one bank will work well for all businesses or even the same business different scenario. For instance, I am partial to Capital One because of their excellent small business division, but they don`t have a local branch. So, we do some of our banking with Capital One and the rest (most of it) with a local bank that also has a good (not excellent) small business division.

I believe that most banks will be similar.  I think its about building a good relationship with the people of the local bank, the tellers, the manager etc.   Capital One is getting into the branch banking sector now,  they purchased North Fork Bank and I`m told that we should expect to see Capital One Branches soon.  My friend is a manager with North Fork, soon to be Capital One and they are building a new branch bank for him here in NJ.
