The site went live a few days ago. I would appreciate any feedback on the current website design and functionalities.  Please do not hold back bad feedback.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have just implemented this site.

http://www.ojolie.com

The site went live a few days ago.  It still has some kinks that I need to work out. But I would appreciate any feedback on the current website design and functionalities.  Please do not hold back bad feedback. I will need them to make the site better.

Thanks!

Tim

I really like it..clean and simple easy to navigate you will work out the bugs.

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tim,

Lovely product concept... and a very nice site.

One item to comment on is your header bar... if it is intentional that the bar extend beyond the left border of the site container, you might want to consider extending the right side of the bar flush with the right border (else it looks like a mistake). If it`s not intentional, then I expect this is one of the bugs you`re working out.

The gray tones are very nice, but you might want to consider replacing the brown inner area with white... it will lighten up the site a bit and not compete as much with the actual images therein.

Finally, you may want to consider a stronger call to action on your homepage somewhere. Instead of the annual membership message, you might try "send a card today", and explain the cost after the visitor has fallen in love with your product.

All the best,

Chanie

Hi Tim,

Here`s your feedback...

I think your site looks good. (although I personally would add a splash of colour to the paintbrush in the logo).

What strikes me as odd though, is why would there be a picture of the Artist on the Homepage. As a customer my primary interest is "what`s in it for me." Does the site exist for the benefit of the Artist, or the benefit of the customer? If the main benefit of recieving an Ojolie card is a warm fuzzy feeling from reading it - then instaead of the Artist, I would suggest a picture of someone (in your target audience`s age group) looking at a card with a warm smile on their face.

Further,
Nowhere on the homepage do you tell me:

- The benefits of your service (convenience, improved quality of life, building relationships, etc.)
-  How I can sign-up (what should I do next?)
- A Newletter where I can see and read your latest success stories would be very helpful for generating new business
- What categories of cards you offer (seasonal? topical? etc.)
-  Testimonials from satisfied customers

Layout and design are quite good though.

Regards,
Derek

P.S.
Please feel free to crique "my" site... www.annexwebdesign.com

Nice website.  Very beautiful cards.  I do agree with Derek that a more customer-focused image would be nice on the main page.  I really like the photo on the main page, but I think it would fit nicer in the "About Us" section.  I don`t know if it is an option, but I would have liked to seen PayPal as a payment option.  I feel a little more comfortable using PayPal, instead of a credit card, for sites that don`t have a big following.

I found your "About Us" section _very_ interesting.  I think video showing the whole artistic process would really be great.  I don`t know if that would give away too many "trade secrets."  Since the site seems to be geared for a more intimate experience with the customer,  I think a short video would bring the customers closer to the artistic experience.  Heck, you could even post the video to Youtube and other video sites as free advertising.

Keep up the good work.

newbiesecurity,

Thanks for the feedback.

Option to pay with PayPal (including credit card processing via PayPal) is in the work.  I am also considering adding Google Checkout later.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I have converted a few e-cards into videos and post them on YouTube and Google Video, although still need to play with the video encoding/compression to get better quality.

The site also offers PayPal as one of the payment options.  I will consider adding Google CheckOut later.
