In response to feedback I got from the last post to this forum we have re-released our site www.myfriendsuggests.com

We`d love to hear your feedback about if the site draws you in, and even more interesting would be what you get from our site in terms of `what makes us different and helpful`....

I appreciate all comments!

Hello,

I like the simplicity of it..clean and fresh. It was easy to register and when i typed in my zip nothing was found, so I typed in a zip I had when i lived in NY and tons of suggestions came up within 20 miles. Very cool and cute!

Yea, NY is where I`m from so thats where most of the content is.

Did you `get` the whole personalizes suggestion concept?  I`m curious if our messaging is clear.

Very cool changes! Only complaint I have, and it may be due to using FireFox, is that the links didn`t seem to work. The site`s running kind of slow, but I get that, what with maps and so forth. All in all, though, I think this is a much better design.

An example: I clicked on the "Want to learn more?" link, the Help/FAQ page. I saw the page, then tried to use the "back" button on the browser. It kept putting me right back on the Help page. "Tired of the Same Old Places" didn`t work initially, and I see it`s because the page was still loading....minutes after I arrived on the home page.

Then, as it slid downward, it was pretty confusing. These are all minor issues, having to do with different ways people like sites to work. You can deal with them after getting customer feedback. But I do like the way the site`s going. :-)

I had an eye problem with the contrast of the logo against the pale blue bar. Plus, the white text on that blue was hard to read. Could you maybe go darker with the background bar...something like a navy blue?
