Brian,

But, in fact, you`re not American, are you? Case closed on that issue, huh?

Perhaps your `tons of family` would like to weigh in on this issue. But, considering it`s our laws in force, I don`t see how your opinion is relevant.

We deal with silly border crossings into Canada as well, but that`s your country, not mine. As long as I can smoke cuban cigars there, I`m fine with the rest!

Well, at least now you`re being honest. Before, it was like, `I`m not American?`.

Yes, this thread has been beat to death. Back to the line at the airport...

Wow, now Canadians are regulating speech is the U.S.? This Patriot Act thing has definitely gone too far...

I didn`t realize that SuN was a sarcasm-free zone. I`m beginning to see that if people agree with you, it`s just being witty, but if they disagree, it`s sarcasm.  We call that situational ethics. Don`t know how that translates into the pseudo-French you folks speak up there.

No, I mean, when I said "..I didn`t realize I wasn`t an American!", that was Sarcasm!

This may be getting a little off track, and a little silly, or should I say drôle.

I love and support my American brothers and sisters!  I love your country, and still have plans to visit many of the parts I haven`t had an opportunity to visit yet!

I fold to you Sir Jeff...mighty debater!  See you around.

Hey, kids,

As the one who innocently started this wide-ranging and peculiar string, I`d have to say it`s definitely a de-struct.

So how about this?

Posit: All Ethics is/are/am Situational Ethics

Any word from my beloved brothers and sisters up north? (Eh hosers, imagine that a maple leaf in Red Wings red is now officially posted on this topic.)

From the "treasonous" - what was that about the 1st Amendment? - Libertarian whose desk is beside mine. She talks to the computer screen a lot.

From "My Country, Love It or Leave It - and Stay Out!"?

And because e-mail is atonal, hence, ergo, i.e., to wit, e.g., e.i.e.i.o, a notoriously unreliable communications ve-hicle: !
