Kathy,
I just found this site last night, "Web Authoring FAQ." It`s a fabulous resource for people like you and me, who have no money and need a Web site of some sort. One thing I was reading was a question about "What are people using to write HTML?"

I was amazed at the reasoning behind professional opinions regarding Front Page, Microsoft Publisher, and now, later versions of DreamWeaver! Jeez....!

I`ve been learning Nvu, a free editor from the Mozilla people. It`s extremely powerful, and I keep "discovering" new capabilities that make life great. It`s poorly documented, but as you get into it, you start to find various tutorial info on the Web. What matters is that you can very easily get into the source code page and SEE all the stuff that`s going on. Apparently, seeing the source code isn`t so easy in other editors.
