I am working on a concept where I am going to be selling a single discount card online.

My site is already designed and hosted on media-temple. I do not really want to buy or subscribe to a shopping cart hosting package. I want to use somebody like authorize.net for the processing, and just need some type of simple shopping cart to put on my site. Somthing that looks good and clean.

I do not want paypal or google because I do not want people to have to make an account to purchase.

I can`t speak about Google, but I have been using PayPal for credit card payments for five years with not one complaint or question by a customer.  The buyer does not have to have a PayPal account to process a credit card transaction on your behalf.

PayPal is perfect for the low volume site because there is no hardware and no monthly fee.  I only pay for the transaction.  If you have a high volume of credit card business then you need your own merchant account.  I haven`t done the math but at some point the monthly account fees and lower transaction fees offsets the higher PayPal transaction fees.

I agree. Paypal does not require your customers to create a Paypal account and it takes only a few minutes to setup a "Buy Now" button with the HTML code to add to your site.

Hi,

Authorize.net does allow to do what you want.  You just need a programmer who knows what they are doing to integrate it for you.  If you give (1) access (2) this document to an experienced programmer they should be able to take it from there:
