I think I figured it out, all but the email. Will work on that.

Go to Edit profile and when you get to your name and email address and website there is a link above that shows you what you need to do, but I have included the instructions, very easy and it changes automatically.

For your website use this;

http://www.yourwebsitename

I could not get the email link to work, I have to try that again. I love technology even more when I try something and it actually works.

I`ll check back to see you send a reply with your hyperlink.

Thank you. Is there a way to pull up postings/toppings through a search?

Do you mean using the "search" box?

Yes, what is the search box. I guess if I navigate around I will find, so this does exist?

From the SuN Home page, click the "Community" tab, then "Forums." At the top right of the main forum page, you`ll see a "quick forum search" box, with an "Advanced search" option.

A nifty trick CampSteve came up with is to click the Advanced Search, then put in your own SuN user name, and use the dropdown box to select "User Name."

That will give you all the topics you`ve ever posted on, constrained to the forums. You then can bookmark this "results" page. When you want to follow each discussion you`ve been involved with, open your browser and click the bookmark.

This has the advantage of not only showing you current topics you`ve participated in, but also long-ago topics that "suddenly" get reactivated when someone new posts to that old topic.

Of course you also can use the other dropdown options to find topics or content. The search feature is really pretty bad for this forum software, so another option is to use the Google toolbar, or just Google the "site" for something.

I`ve been involved with the forums a long time, and have a reasonably okay memory. So a lot of times I know there was a topic, even if I can`t remember it exactly. I can usually find it, though, when it comes up again.

Thank you for the detailed information. I start storing topics in my head, remember there was something posted but would have to go through all the postings. What you have laid out will be a big help.

Thanks again.
