Our site is up. We want to launch it this week but there are a few bugs to work out.  The photo gallery needs some finctionality changes, and needs more content. There are typos throughout the site. We also need to add alt tags to the images.
Other than that I`d appreciate some overall feedback.

Does it convey what we do and who we are?
Does it present a professional appearance to a business or individual needing our services?
We felt we needed a visual appeal since we are selling visual mechandise.

Old site is:
www.shockwavesign.com/index.html   (not sure how long this will be active)

The navigation was weird and I ended up lost. By that I mean I never did find the original page from the above link. I opened that, then started clicking to move around, and ended up all over the site. I just didn`t end up at a destination.

I guess what I`m saying is that a Web site should have a start, a middle, and an end. The "end" should be a place to buy something, or a conclusion to an article, or if nothing else, a return to zero---the starting point. I didn`t feel that way with this site.

Craig..... there is a "home" link on the menu and clicking on the logo brings you home

It might be better to have the "home" link on the left rather than the right.

The image links on this page http://www.shockwavesign.com/backlitsigns.php produce a 404 not found. As do the ones on this page: http://www.shockwavesign.com/vehiclewraps.php and other pages too.

You might consider changing the style of the links on your about us page to be consistant with the rest of the site (either white or the yellowish color). They do not stand out as links as they are.

You do have some SEO work to do too (page descriptions, wording of title tags..etc).

I like the site!

Hi,

I was interested in looking at some of your samples, but when I went to specialty sign samples, I got a fatal error, so I didn`t look around anymore.  When you get everything fixed, I`d like to look at your sign samples again.

I liked your design and the colors.  I would put my phone number on the top, and maybe your physical address.

I would also move home to right.

Your homepage url .....
http://www.shockwavesign.com/index_.php
Your home link url ....
http://www.shockwavesign.com/index.php
Your home links get 404 errors, you need to correct these.

Check your html and css validation.

Overall, I look the look and colors. I also like the way that some links, when clicked, seem to "float" the page to another section; very cool effect.

Under the 5 small blocks on the main page, why have "View Portfolio +" under each when it appears they all go to the same page? These links also are giving page errors.

The "Contact Us" and "Request a Quote" on the same page was kind of confusing at first as I didn`t expect to see them together. And the "Upload Files" seems out of place; it doesn`t seem connected to your quote request.

Yah, that`s what happened to me, and when I`d click the "Back" button, I`d end up somewhere unexpected. That`s more what I meant about the strange navigation. I did click the "Home" button :-) having found it fairly easily, but that didn`t help me figure out where I`d started before I got the error.
